We'll be teaching girls and women to juggle as part of New York City's National Girls and Women in Sports Day. The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a full day to celebrate the achievements of female athletes and inspire the next generation. In addition to free juggling lessons, kids can get instruction in volleyball, soccer, and other sports from collegiate athletes. Kids who want to participate in aquatic activities must bring a swimsuit, cap, and towel.
Early arrivals will get a free t-shirt, and there will be fun fitness classes that adults can do too, so bring the whole family!
Playful Productions President Viveca Gardiner will also be speaking in the women in sports panel.
